Crafted in Jaipur’s famed clay-free blue pottery technique, the plate is shaped from a blend of finely ground quartz, glass, and multani mitti, then coated with a white slip to create a smooth painting surface. Artisans hand-paint the entire design using natural mineral piKgents, capturing every curve of the cow’s form and each petal of the lotuses. Once glazed and low-fired, the plate acquires a luminous finish that enhances its vibrant colours.
