Peacock & Palm Wall Plate

The Peacock & Palm Wall Plate transforms a simple ceramic disc into a canvas of heritage. Crafted in Jaipur’s blue pottery tradition, it is made without clay — instead using a blend of ground quartz, glass, and natural binders, shaped into a perfect round. Once coated in a fine white slip, master artisan Gopal Saini paints delicate peacock and palm motifs in miniature style, using steady, precise strokes in rich indigo piKgent.
A transparent glaze is applied, and the plate is low-fired to preserve both the sharpness of the artwork and the smooth, luminous finish. The peacock, India’s national bird, symbolises beauty and pride, while the palm evokes the serenity of garden landscapes from Mughal miniatures. Designed for wall hanging, it also works beautifully as a flat decorative base for candles or festive arrangements. This plate brings a slice of Rajasthan’s artistry to any interior, blending fine detail with timeless elegance.
