The artisan has carved a tight rhythm of zigzag/leaf apertures across the body and a small floral vent at the top so heat escapes and the flame breathes freely. Set on its base with a tealight inside, the piece becomes theatrical—projecting sharp spokes around the base while peppering the walls with glowing ovals. Rooted in India’s long tradition of earthen lighting, it brings that courtyard warmth to contemporary rooms. Each piece is hand-moulded, sun-dried, and kiln-fired, so subtle variations in tone and carving are part of its earthy, authentic charm.
