Guldasta Bloom Vase

The Guldasta Bloom Vase is a joyful burst of colour and tradition, inspired by the ornate floral bouquets seen in Mughal miniature paintings. In Jaipur’s blue pottery tradition, the form is shaped from a blend of quartz, glass, and multani mitti, a mix that gives it strength without using clay. Once moulded, the surface is coated with a silky white slip, becoming the artisan’s blank canvas.
Using steady, practiced strokes, the artist paints a full bouquet (guldasta) of yellow, red, green, and white blooms, each petal holding centuries of design heritage. After glazing, the vase is low-fired, preserving both its vivid colours and its lustrous finish. Ideal for dressing up a dining table, console, or festive décor setting, it can hold dry flowers or stand on its own as a radiant expression of Rajasthan’s living craft.
